Joining a ministry now goes through a leader, and a new member's group chat starts on the day they join.
Joining
- A leader confirms — when a new user joins, a leader confirms their request. Until then they can see ministry-wide events, resources and announcements, and Messages opens once they're confirmed.
- Chat starts when they join — when a new user is confirmed, their house chat shows a line that they've joined. Messages from before that day stay out of their view.
For leaders & admins
- Join requests on Home — new requests for your house sit on your Home screen with the person's name and email. Approve to add them to the house, or send the request to your admin with a note.
- Join requests in Admin — admins see every open request in one place: the ones sent to you by a leader or made without a house, and the ones still with a leader. Approve, place the person in a house from Users, or remove them.
- A joined line in every group chat — when someone is added to a house or a team, the chat shows that they joined.
